Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay, I found the property to be exceptionally well-suited for both comfort and convenience. The house boasted an inviting atmosphere that easily accommodated my group of five, including our dog. Notable features included a tidy kitchen equipped with essential cookware and utensils, alongside an electric kettle for those much-needed morning brews. The bedrooms were comfortably furnished, with the top-floor double room offering stunning views over the estuary. A relaxing lounge area provided a warm retreat after long walks in the area. Access to local shops, pubs, and a chip shop within walking distance was a big plus, allowing for spontaneous outings. For those who enjoy exploring, the nearby Leighton Moss RSPB reserve was a delightful find, and we appreciated the well-signposted paths. The only downside was not having a washing machine, which would have been useful after our outdoor adventures. This location strikes a fine balance between value and comfort, making it a place I would consider revisiting for a longer stay.
